I'm just sitting here browsing through your photos. There's always something special about each one, Mike! I find that more and more I love photoblogs because sometimes even good words become tiresome. Photos speak as well. They do it silently and yet sometimes resound louder than anything one could verbalize.
I decided to pause and comment on this lily because it is one of my favorite flowers as well. It's a Stargazer lily. I can remember tigerlilies growing in my grandmother's backyard as early as when they were taller that I was. They were planted by my great-grandmother and according to my mom, my grandaddy used to mutter every time he had to mow around them.
