Yet large corporate IT departments still insist on aiming their money-firehoses at Microsoft in comparably ludicrous ways.

My favorite aspect of using GPL'd software in the workplace ("unsanctioned" though it may be) is that it totally eliminates software licensing compliance issues. What a relief! I can't imagine ever walking back into that briar patch.
