New Riders online books, Vim and Adv Linux Programming. Many thanks to New Riders for publishing these books online under the Open Publication License (OPL):

Only downside is their view by content navigation doesn't work in Mozilla. As much of the audience for these two titles is likely to be Unix users--many of whom use Mozilla/Galeon/Chimera, the NR folks really ought to make Mozilla/Gecko navigation a priority.

Running Classic OS9 from disk image in Jaguar. Mark writes about creating a more secure Classic environment, pointing to a Mac OS X Hints topic, Run Classic from a disk image. Trying in Jaguar now.

Observation: My OS 9 fonts disappear when OS9 is running off the disk image, and my font cache tips to recover them don't seem to work. I'm so fond of Palatino and Espy Sans I'm not willing to give them up at the moment.
