IE layout wonkage
Oh, bother. Somewhere along the line I’ve broken my main page layout in Win IE6. It’s fine in Gecko-based browsers like Firefox and in Safari. I almost never use Windows or IE any more, and had forgotten ‘til today to fire ‘em up for a layout check.
I’ve almost got my head around Holly ‘n John’s magnificent Piefecta layout. I think I’ll complete the head-wrap and get it pushed into place as a more robust solution.
2004-08-25 update:
Okay, main page is now using an in-progress and somewhat mangled Piefecta layout. It validates and looks almost okay in Win IE6. Woo-hoo! (I’ve temporarily dropped some includes that were goofing the layout in IE; I think they’re too wide.)
Thanks so much for getting this design working, and then sharing it, H & J!
I think it’s also a test of Have We Learned Anything? Has our attending church all these years (for those of us who have) been for naught if we still can’t discern wheat from chaff? Wheat-sowers from weed-sowers? Fertile ground from hardpan? Figs from no figs? (Or, to go extrabiblical here, cattle from hat?)
