Tread lightly on the things of earth

Cool. Now my newsfeed(s) include any “Continued reading …” part, thanks to Tim’s MT-EntryBodyMore plugin.

I like having MT’s extended entry aka “Continued reading” option. It helps me get over the hump of posting content others may disagree with, because I can “hide” it off the main page in a way that requires a deliberate click-thru to see. (Demonstrating, for better or worse, my Enneagram 9 tendency to avoid conflict that might disrupt relationship.)

Of course, Google reveals the whole individual archive soon enough, and now the entry’s whole content shows in people’s news aggregators immediately. But psychologically, for me to be able to click Post entry sometimes, it’s enough.
